(music, food, wine, & fun included!)
Join us for the fourth installment of The Fête Concert Series as we dive into Americana at its finest, just in time for Thanksgiving. We will be performing some of our favorite songs by Aaron Copland, including selections from the Twelve Poems of Emily Dickinson, the Old American Songs, with co-founder Paul Dab at the piano, and As it fell upon a day, trio for soprano, flute, and clarinet. The program will also include some solo piano works and the Duo for Flute and Piano with flutist Victoria Hauk. Other performers include mezzo-soprano Johanna Bronk, clarinetist Sophie Huet, and soprano and co-founder Anne Hepburn Smith. And of course, we will end the concert with an arrangement of “Happy Birthday” by co-founder and local composer Eric Choate in the style of our beloved birthday boy. A lucky raffle winner will be chosen to stand in for Mr. Copland and blow out the candles.
Let’s put the “art” back into “party”! We look forward to seeing you there.
